Leaving it to the Last Minute.... What's New?

Wedding is THIS saturday, promised bag three months ago, finished five minutes ago.
Cutting it close? Um... just a little.
But here it is..... TADA.....
Fold over clutch made of cream shantung satin (from the stash).
Recognise the button? from my favourite op shop and mentioned in this post.

Flower close up.

I am really happy with how it turned out and I will try and sort out a pattern for it next week if you would like to whip one up.
The wedding as I mentioned is Tomorrow. I am a bridesmaid and my dress is Fluro Coral/Pink/Peach. I literally glow while wearing it and my newly bronzed skin does nothing to help just accentuate. I have a lot to say about the whole situation BUT I love my friend and have to show some grace... is that the right word? And am now focussing on having a great day and not the dress. Not the dress.
Anyhoo, if you have any ideas on how to dye a foofy polyester bridesmaid dress ( we are having a dying ceremony next week) I would love to hear them.
Have a great weekend,
Mel

  1. I still have an orange dress from my sister's wedding, that was a year and a half ago. I'm waiting for it to tell me what to make it, but so far it is content being shoved in the back of my closet - never to be seen by human eyes again!
